The New York Knicks could make some serious noise next season.

The Knicks front office brought back largely the same roster from last year’s team with a few key changes.

New York brought back Derrick Rose, Alec Burks, and Nerlens Noel on new multi-year contracts. They lost Elfrid Payton and Reggie Bullock in free agency and replaced them with newcomers Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier.

The New York Knicks have shooters

The roster heading into next year has more talent than the one that finished as the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference last season. They are better, on paper…

The Tom Thibodeau-led New York Knicks have been praised as an unassailable defensive team and criticized for being a lackluster offensive one. Rightfully so.

While Tom Thibodeau’s brand of basketball may never scratch a top-5 offensive efficiency, there was clearly a lot of room for improvement heading into this season. The team lacked shot creators and found themselves in panic mode in the 2021 NBA Playoffs when the Atlanta Hawks exposed their flaws on offense.

The team went on to sign Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker, two players who can help fix the Knicks’ shot-creation issues. What some people don’t always remember is that in spite of their deficiencies, New York was actually a really good shooting team last season. They were 3rd in the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage, trailing only the Los Angeles Clippers and The Brooklyn Nets.

This is a team filled with shooters. Ranking them isn’t easy. Here are the top-5 shooters on the New York Knicks.
