The NY Knicks are finally competent again and it’s actually fun to be a fan of the team for the first time in quite a while.

Every move that’s been executed over the past year seems to be extremely calculated with an ultimate purpose and end goal in mind.

The Knicks’ front office has made huge strides this summer and while it’s obvious the team isn’t a finished product, it looks like it’s getting pretty damn close to it.

Bringing back 3 major components that played a massive role in the success the team had was a huge step in the right direction.

Acquiring a former All-Star like Kemba Walker and of course, Evan Fournier, who were massive upgrades over the players they replaced proves that the team knew exactly what needed to be done to advance the team closer to what the final product should look like one day.

Which NY Knicks player is least likely to finish this season in New York?

And how can we forget the front office and organization committing a huge chunk of its future and entrusting it into the hands of their star attraction, Julius Randle?

That said, some of the moves that were made this offseason could prove to be the reasons why some other players are eventually cut or traded either before the new season starts or at next year’s trade deadline.

It’s been made clear that Leon Rose appreciates and reciprocates loyalty but the Knicks are on a rocket ship towards long-term success and competency, and that means that some difficult but necessary moves will be made for the greater good of the team.
