New York Knicks — Game 3 vs. The Orlando Magic

38. . Sunday, Oct 24th. 0. . 7:00 PM ET. 27. 0

Back-to-back games against the Orlando Magic should bode well for the Knicks’ confidence early in the season.

In the 2nd game, New York will be back home at Madison Square Garden and they’re going to want to keep the Ws coming.

I already detailed where the Orlando Magic are in their team-building process and their expectations for this season. Really, no matter how you look at it, they’re going to be the overwhelming underdogs against this New York Knicks team.

It’s going to be fun to get to see Magic rookie Jalen Suggs early on in the season, and perhaps he could put up some big numbers as Orlando’s primary ball-handler.

I just have no idea how the Magic win either of these games with the Knicks fully healthy.

We know New York plays a slow brand of basketball, and perhaps the Magic can hang around for the first half of the game and keep it close.

There’s just not a lot of proven talent and cohesiveness on their team yet. What happens when the Knicks’ 2nd unit of Rose-Quickley-Burks-Toppin-Noel comes in the game? Who’s guarding Derrick Rose and Immanuel Quickley? Cole Anthony and Ignas Brazdeikis? (Shoutout Iggy)

Again, there’s just not enough proven talent on the Orlando Magic roster right now, and they’re going to be competing for the #1 overall pick this season. The Knicks win both of these games.
