The NY Knicks are going to be hard-pressed to get the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference in back-to-back seasons.
New York Knicks fans should be excited about the revamped roster but also recognize that they’re not the only team that improved this offseason.
NY Knicks: 3 Eastern Conference teams who could surpass them
The Eastern Conference was already jam-packed last season.
The 7th and 10th seeds were separated by just games. The 4th and 7th seeds were separated by 5 games.
Now just because New York accomplished the 4th seed in a bizarre, injury-riddled, COVID impacted season does not mean they can’t repeat the same feat next year.
NY has absolutely upgraded their roster from last season. Replacing Elfrid Payton and Reggie Bullock with Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier should do wonders to open up their offense.
With that being said, they were one of the healthiest teams in the NBA last season, and not only will there be teams returning to full health, but there are also teams who added new talent just as potent as New York’s new additions.
