Do you think Bradley Beal would consider coming to play for the NY Knicks?

At this point, it feels like I’m beating a dead horse but until this is no longer an option, I’ll keep talking about the Knicks acquiring Bradley Beal.

After all, the Wizards have done anything and everything in an attempt to keep Beal as happy in Washington as possible.

It seemed as if the experiment with Russ and Beal failed, so they moved on from Westbrook and acquired some nice depth pieces like KCP, Trez Harrell, and Kyle Kuzma.

They also signed Spencer Dinwiddie which, if healthy, isn’t all that much of a downgrade from Russ if we’re being honest here.

Lastly, they do have a nice chunk of promising talents that they’ve drafted n recent years like Corey Kispert, Rui Hachimura, Deni Avdija, and so on.

But let’s call a spade a spade here…this roster isn’t getting Bradley Beal anywhere closer to being a competitive playoff team, let alone an NBA title.

Beal might just be the next superstar traded between now and the next trade deadline, largely due in part to the fact that he’s entering the final season of his most recent contract.

Of course, he has the player option for next season, but he holds all the leverage for now.

There were whispers that Worldwide Wes had spoken with some who are close to Beal last season and tried to nudge them toward requesting for a trade.

I guess the timing just wasn’t right back then, but the Wizards will soon be hard-pressed not to move Beal if that’s what he wants next season.

The Knicks have the ability to match salaries with Washington since they opted to bring back a bunch of their pieces from last season instead of ‘staying flexible’ like stupid Max Kellerman would have wanted them to.

Take that, bozo.
