Before I get absolutely crucified in the comments, I love every single one of the NY Knicks‘ 2021 draft picks.

I know there’s gonna be a lot of people out there who just react to the headline without reading what’s actually written, so for those who do read the entire article, thank you.

This is one of those WAYYYYY too early types of articles where everything I say here may age terribly.

In fact, I hope all of these takes are wrong because I’d much rather everyone on the Knicks be the best player the team could have gotten when they made their selection.

Would you have wanted the NY Knicks to take any of these players?

But, as of now, through about a week’s worth of Summer League games, there could be some players in which the Knicks missed out on completely.

And again, I know that the trades in the first round were made to save money toward the cap, so miss me with that logic.

Going into the draft, it was pretty obvious that the Knicks had a need at the center position, either of the guard spots and on the wing.

I think the front office did a great job with who they were able to grab in Quentin Grimes, Miles McBride, Rokas Jokubaitis, and Jericho Sims.

And while I would love to revisit this article in a few months and realize how wrong my assumptions were back in August, I think the Knicks could have gone in a different direction a couple of times.

Here are 3 players the Knicks could have drafted in the 2021 NBA Draft.
