IT’S FINALLY FUN TO BE A NY KNICKS FAN AGAIN!

I’ll be honest here, y’all…I’m just writing this one off the cuff and expressing the pure emotions I’ve been feeling over the last week or so.

And I hope that somehow this article finds its way to someone in the Knicks’ front office because I can confidently say that I’m speaking on behalf of the vast majority of the fanbase here…or at least the one’s that understand why they’ve made the moves they’ve executed so far.

With the 2020-21 season in the rearview mirror, as fans, we wanted to see if the moves made last season were flukey or in fact legitimate steps forward towards the future of this organization.

It’s finally fun to be a NY Knicks fan again because of Leon Rose

Signing proven veterans like Nerlens Noel and Alec Burks could have worked out for anyone.

Trading for a former MVP in Derrick Rose…he’s shown he had some gas left in the tank prior to the trade.

The drafting of Obi Toppin was a bit of a miss, but that obviously had a lot more to do with the emergence of Julius Randle as an All-Star caliber talent than Obi just being a bad player.

A broken clock is right twice a day, so drafting Immanuel Quickley with the 25th overall pick and him turning out to be one of the top rookies in the class could have just been pure luck over anything else…

We wanted to see what Leon had up his sleeve this offseason before we as fans truly bought in.

Believe me when I say this, Leon…WE HERE!
