With the NBA Draft about to kick off, one name that has picked up some steam to the New York Knicks is the 19-year-old Ziaire Williams.

We have gone through plenty of prospects who have been linked to NY in recent weeks, but here we are getting down to the wire, and we get a report from the New York Post that the Knicks brought in Ziaire Williams for a workout on Tuesday — just 2 days before the NBA Draft.

NBA Draft: New York Knicks may have an eye for Ziaire Williams

At this point in the process, any late workout, interview, or any kind of contact with a prospect is meaningful. As opposed to just reports, which could just be noise or smokescreens, we have hard evidence that New York is showing plenty of interest in Ziaire Williams.

New York may currently hold picks 19 and 21… for now.

The Knicks made a lot of noise towards the end of the first round last year, and they could be busy again this year.

Ziaire Williams’ workout with the team and language in the interview he gave afterward was very telling.
