NY Knicks Under-The-Radar Target #1 – Jeremy Lamb

Jeremy Lamb is a perfect player for the Knicks to target in a trade.

The 28-year-old Pacers wing fits the bill of what Tom Thibodeau wants the Knicks to target.

Thibs said that the Knicks would make “shooting and our offense” a priority in the offseason.

Jeremy Lamb would give the Knicks a good jolt of shooting and offense to their starting 5 or their bench unit.

Lamb shot a career-high 41% from three this season but was plagued with injuries, only appearing in 36 of the 74 games the Pacers played, counting the play-in.

Lamb’s ability to catch and shoot and add some mid-range scoring off of the dribble are two strengths that not too many Knicks players possess.

Acquiring a player who is an actual threat off the dribble could help open up some more looks for the team and add more spacing.

There has been speculation that Lamb could be on his way out of Indiana, and with two injury-plagued seasons, Lamb’s price tag could be at an all-time low.

Lamb makes 10.5 Million dollars, and the Knicks could eat that salary in a trade probably as cheap as Lamb for the 21st pick.
