#3 – The Exclamation Point: 2021 NBA Playoffs Game 2 vs Atlanta Hawks

This lob was number one on both the top 10 alley-oop and top 10 Obi Toppin lists due to its importance and the excitement it generated. Not to mention the facts that Toppin made a play on both sides of the ball at this moment at a crucial part of the biggest game of his life so far at the time. However, I have to admit as far as dunks go there was nothing special about it.

It was a simple two-handed like many alley-oops are.

Since this list is dedicated more to the dunks themselves than the play as a whole that the dunk was a part of, it will have to settle for 3rd.

But, obviously, this play was amazing. I don’t need to explain that to you. The kid got a block and then sprinted full-court to get an open lob and put the Knicks up 6 points.

All hail Obi-Wan Toppin!
