#5 – Robinson Double Poster: December 29th, 2020 vs Cleveland Cavaliers

This highlight also made the number 5 spot on the top 10 alley-oops list.

Since it was still early in the season, Andre Drummond had not yet been bought out by Cleveland. In this game, just as he did in the other 3 games he faced the New York Knicks as a Cavalier, Drummond was doing great. He put up 18 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.

Mitchell Robinson played a typical Mitch game (9 points, 10 rebounds), but couldn’t do much to neutralize Drummond. However, he was able to pull off a sweet slam at Drummond’s expense.

Robinson got a perfect lob pass from Elfrid Payton that allowed him to nab the ball and throw it down with both Drummond and Larry Nance Jr. there to contest.

Again, not the greatest flashiest dunk for Robinson this year, but his ability to beat Drummond to a ball in the air and finish the play with more than one guy trying to stop him is an amazing feat.
