#6 – High IQ: January 29th, 2021 vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Yes, another highlight jam against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Spoiler alert: there will be one more Cavs appearance on this list featuring a dunk seen in Part 1 of this series. This clip is probably the rarest highlight the Knicks had all season, aside from maybe #10 on this list.

In their series’ final game, New York faced a slightly different-looking Cavs squad. Following the blockbuster James Harden trade, Jarrett Allen became the Cavs’ starting center. Allen is one of the league’s top shot blockers and has denied several NBA stars.

But he couldn’t block Immanuel Quickly.

Quickley faked a hand-off to RJ Barrett and charged at the rim down the right baseline. Quickley was all alone until Allen came over towards IQ. However, Allen was too late and got postered by Quickley who completed the two-hand dunk and drew the foul.

It was great to see the IQ not only dunk, but poster someone, something we may not see again for a while.
