NY Knicks Fireworks Finale (Part 3): Top 10 Dunks From 20-21
By James Ryder
Here we are folks, Part 3 of our NY Knicks Fireworks series.
This is the finale, so we’re breaking out the big ones. By the way, don’t ask me where I got them (Psst, I got them from Pennsylvania like everyone else).
Also, if the cops show up, tell them Elfrid Payton was behind everything.
We will cap off our Fourth of July celebration by listing the Knicks’ top 10 dunks from the 2020-2021 season. I hope you all did your required summer reading. If you didn’t, go check out Part 1 and Part 2 where we rank the top 10 alley-oops and top 10 Obi Toppin dunks, respectively.
The top 10 Dunks from the 2020-21 NY Knicks season
This list will feature all sorts of dunks. While in parts one and two we saw a lot of Toppin, Nerlens Noel, and Mitchell Robinson, part three will have some new faces, as well as some of the same.
The only dunks you may expect to see here that won’t be are the dunks Toppin provided in the 2021 NBA Dunk Contest. Because they were not in-game dunks, they will not be included on this list.
Before we get started, here are some honorable mentions:
- Noel’s clutch put-back over John Collins (Feb 15th vs Hawks)
- RJ Barrett’s fast-break poster on Zach LaVine (Feb 1st vs Bulls)
- Julius Randle’s clutch steal and slam (Jan 2nd vs Pacers)
- Robinson’s steal and slam (Dec 26 vs 76ers)
- Frank Ntilikina’s “dunk” on Nikola Vucevic (Mar 18 vs Magic)
