Would Corey Kispert fit well with Julius Randle on the NY Knicks?

I guess I have a lot of ‘favorites’ from this draft class because Corey Kispert is up there as well.

Kispert is a 6’7 220lb combo-forward Senior from Gonzaga and he helped Jalen Suggs, a projected top-5 pick from this year’s class, make it to the National Title game.

Kispert spent 4 years at Gonzaga, so his ceiling may not be as high as some of the other prospects but he improved his numbers year over year.

He finished this last season with 18.6 points per game and shot 44% from 3-point range on 6.5 attempts.

He reminds me a lot of guys like Joe Harris or even recent potential Knicks free agency target, Duncan Robinson.

His assist numbers do him no justice because although he only averaged around 2 dimes per game in college, he loved to get his teammates involved and was a very unselfish player.

He may have been the second-best playmaker on the team outside of Jalen Suggs.

Kispert may struggle with the NBA’s speed of play and the opposing team’s quickest wings, but he sure as heck won’t get bullied with his 220lb frame.

One of the higher basketball I.Q.s of the class, he’ll find a way to contribute at the next level no matter what.

I could see Kispert slipping down to pick 19 potentially due to his age, and if that happened, the Knicks could be grabbing a player that will surely be on the roster when Julius Randle and Co bring a title back home to NYC.
