Should the New York Knicks sign Doug McDermott this summer?
Remember when Doug McDermott got all of Madison Square Garden on their feet with some rim-rattling dunks?
What about his uncanny ability to shoot the ball?
Alright – maybe it didn’t happen that often, but McDermott improved his game tremendously since leaving the Knicks and becoming an Indiana Pacer.
The former Creighton Blue Jay set career highs in a bevy of categories – including points per game.
In a disappointing season for the Pacers, he was a bright spot.
McDermott’s time in New York was brief, but he can be more impactful than ever returning to the franchise.
If last season wasn’t an aberration, he could provide Tom Thibodeau’s bunch with a valuable piece off the bench.
We’ve mentioned trades for Dougie McBuckets on a few occasions here at Daily Knicks, so now that it would cost the team nothing but some cap space to acquire the sharpshooter, should they pull the trigger?
