#6 – Knox to Robinson: January 11th, 2021 vs Charlotte Hornets

This is the type of play the coach rips into the team for allowing.

Thankfully for the Hornets, they were still up 14 points following this play and wound up crushing the New York Knicks 109-88.

Regardless, this game was still good for a highlight play in the alley-oop encyclopedia.

On an inbounds pass Kevin Knox hoisted the ball up near the rim with just 0.5 seconds left on the shot clock.

Despite having two Hornets standing near him beneath the rim, Mitchell Robinson got up and put the ball in with two hands.

Robinson made it look easy, well it was easy since the Hornets made little effort to stop it. Still, Robinson had to dunk the ball over the reaching PJ Washington.

That, combined with a perfect throw from Knox, makes for a unique and satisfying play with the clock against them.
