#7 – Noel Over Markkanen: February 3rd, 2021 vs Chicago Bulls
The New York Knicks went into Chicago for their second straight game against the Bulls and came out with the 107-103 win after losing the first game on February 1st.
In that first game, Lauri Markkanen torched the Knicks. He finished with 30 points shooting 11-for18 from the field and 6-for12 from downtown.
In the second game, not only did Markkanen play very poorly (9 points 3/8 shooting), he got posterized by Nerlens Noel.
In the pick and roll, Noel got a lob pass from Alec Burks. He draped over the helpless Markkanen and easily flushed the ball home.
If you pause it at just the right time, it looks like Markkanen is giving Noel a piggyback ride.
