#8 – Toppin’s Tomahawk: February 13th, 2021 vs Houston Rockets
Another top 10 submission, another high reaching alley-oop jam.
In garbage time against the Rockets, Obi Toppin threw down one of the best dunks he had all season.
He and Kevin Knox made magic off-ball in this play. Toppin set a screen for Knox on the left side, freeing him up for a pass from Theo Pinson.
With no hesitation, Knox turned the corner looking to get to the rim. However, he saw Toppin now wide open and threw him the lob.
Toppin made the most of it by throwing down the hammer.
Walt “Clyde” Frazier appropriately dubbed this dunk a ‘master blaster.”
I couldn’t agree more.
