#1 – The Exclamation Point: May 26th, 2021 NBA Playoffs Game 2 vs Atlanta

Man, was this alley-oop special.

This was possibly the most important lob of the Knicks’ entire season. The team was already down one game to the Atlanta Hawks in the series.

Not to mention New York trailed by 13 points at halftime following a horrible 1st and 2nd quarter.

The Knicks were able to come through in the third quarter by taking a 1 point lead, 76-75.

Then, with a 4 point lead and about a minute gone in the 4th quarter, Obi Toppin made an incredible play on both sides of the ball. Toppin blocked a shot, took off down the floor, and then got a lob pass from Alec Burks to put the Knicks up 6. It was definitely the biggest play of Toppin’s career, even though he is just a rookie.

The play served as the exclamation point for the Knicks’ comeback to get their lone playoff win.
