NY Knicks: 2 former Julius Randle teammates to sign in offseason
Should the NY Knicks pair Julius Randle and Lonzo Ball together again?

Lonzo Ball is a favorite amongst Knicks fans to be the heir apparent to the point guard spot for the next 5-10 years.
We’ve written about Lonzo coming to the Knicks on several occasions and for good reason.
He checks off a lot of the boxes the Knicks have in regard to their needs and how he would fit into the offense.
Coach Thibs does prefer a point guard that can slash and penetrate, and while that’s not really what Lonzo does best, I’m sure he could find a way to make it work.
A big point guard standing at 6’6, high offensive and defensive IQ, and can really thread the needle as a primary ballhandling playmaker.
Supposedly, there’s mutual interest between the Ball brother and New York as Marc Berman of the NY Post had this to say:
"Ball, the No. 2 pick of the 2017 draft, is a restricted free agent, but the Pelicans might not match an offer sheet that starts at $19 million. Making Zion Williamson happy is their top priority, though, and it has been reported they like playing together. Ball is the kind of pass-first point guard the Knicks need. He improved his 3-point shooting (37.8 percent) this past season but has never performed against a playoff defense. Leon Rose knows Lavar Ball from their past when CAA repped the family. The father’s eccentricities are not an issue. Sources believe Lavar, a former tight end on the Jets’ practice squad, wants all his sons on Broadway, and the Knicks are on Lonzo’s radar."
If there has ever been a family that belongs underneath the bright lights of NYC, it has to be the Ball fam.
Lonzo and Randle spent 1 season together in Los Angeles back in the 2017-18 season, and supposedly they do have a nice friendship outside of basketball so I’m sure both would relish the opportunity to join forces yet again.
