NY Knicks: Tre Mann could be the steal of the NBA Draft
By Adam Kester
The NY Knicks are in full NBA Draft mode and they could be eyeing Unversity of Florida guard Tre Mann with one of their picks.
New York could go in a variety of different directions with this upcoming draft. There are already reports swirling that the team wants to trade up. Regardless of where they end up selecting, there’s going to be a lot of high-end talent in a loaded draft class.
NY Knicks: Tre Mann is a perfect fit in the NBA Draft
There are some dream targets that have already been floated around quite a bit. Davion Mitchell, James Bouknight, and Moses Moody are very popular NBA Draft targets among fans, and it’s easy to see why.
A few months ago, James Bouknight was a realistic target for pick 19, but his stock has appeared to skyrocket in recent weeks. The NY Knicks would likely have to trade up to acquire one of those 3 and it shouldn’t be the only option they explore.
This is a draft of high-ceiling, All-Star level players. Last year’s draft was mistakingly labeled as “weak” when really, it was more of a low-ceiling, high-floor draft.
The upcoming 2021 NBA Draft is going to feature players with sky-high potential from top to bottom. Tre Mann is one of such players, and he could be available for New York at pick 19.
Not only can Mann contribute early on for the NY Knicks, he could seamlessly fit into the team’s current roster.
A potential superstar talent who is just getting started.
