Reverse NBA Awards: The Allan Houston Award for Most 20-0-0 Games

  1. Norman Powell
  2. Dillon Brooks
  3. Tim Hardaway Jr.

This isn’t necessarily a bad award, I just find the guys who score a lot and do nothing else kind of funny.

Norman Powell was putting up big numbers scoring for the Raptors. He’s cooled down some since, but he’s still being used mostly as a scorer and finisher of plays. At least he plays solid defense so that he isn’t so one-dimensional out there.

Brooks and Hardaway are typical score-first guys. They’ll shoot, and when they’re hitting their shots then the team usually wins, but when they’re missing they will not slow down. Brooks in particular is a bit trigger happy.  His 17 points on 42% shooting say it all. Still, there’s no shame in being a pure scorer.
