Remember in elementary school when you would build one of those paper chains to count down the days until something special?

Every NY Knicks fan has one made of blue and orange strips of construction paper hanging in their homes as a countdown to Sunday’s first playoff game since 2013.

It’s like the lead-up to Christmas for Knicks fans. Instead of building gingerbread houses, we’re building cases for things like Coach of the Year and All-NBA teams. Instead of singing carols, we’re just listening to “Go NY Go!” on an endless loop. Instead of wrapping presents, we’re wrapping our houses in soundproofing to block out all the yelling we’re going to do on Sunday.

‘Tis truly the season.

And what would this week of build-up be without a few “Year In Review” type articles from your friends here at DailyKnicks.

Everyone is on a high right now–understandably so–but the season definitely had some low points. The Knicks have had some tough losses this season. Even still, there have been far more positive moments than negative ones.

This is a season of happiness, and this article cannot be all doom and gloom. This article will examine some of the team’s greatest moments as well.

The Knicks won in every way imaginable this year. There have been wins of different levels all throughout the season. Wins against top opponents, nail-biters, and comfortable victories.

Even with the shortened season, there was no shortage of highs and lows for the Knicks this year.
