The 3 unsung heroes for the New York Knicks
By Mark Wessol
Reggie Bullock has been invaluable for the Knicks
Reggie Bullock, like Julius Randle, has gone from “Get this man out of the city” to extending him for years to come. My man is a certified sharpshooter, who is gaining confidence on a nightly basis.
Bullock has gone from shooting 33% from behind the arc last year, to shooting 40% this year. What a jump!
During this 8 game win streak, Reggie Bullock is shooting a terrific 43% from three. So it is pretty clear when Bullock is able to take some of the scoring load off Julius Randle and RJ Barrett, the Knicks win more games than not.
Here is another pretty cool stat I heard from the broadcast last night during the Knicks vs. Hawks game. The Knicks are 21-6 when Reggie Bullock scores in double figures. Just goes to show you how important Bullock’s shooting is to the Knicks’ success.
When we need a three-pointer, give it to Bullock. Cue the tying corner three from the Pelicans game.
What else can Bullock do?
Defense. This guy every game gets better at defending, always guarding the opponent’s best player, Bullock never backs down from the challenge.
He may not be winning any defensive or offensive NBA awards, but we sure do appreciate the effort he puts in both sides of the ball here in New York.
