NY Knicks: 3 players NY should offer 10-day contracts to
Should the NY Knicks target Glenn Robinson III?
Glenn Robinson III never really filled his father’s shoes but he’s still a solid contributor at the NBA level.
The former Michigan standout has spent the last 7 seasons bouncing around several different teams.
While he has struggled, by and large, he’s also shown he can execute at a high level when given the opportunity.
Back in the 2019-20 season with the Golden State Warriors, Robinson averaged 13 points, 5 boards, and 2 assists while shooting 40% from deep during his 48 games with the organization.
Other than that one season, he was respectable, not great.
GR3 actually reminds me a lot of a poor man’s version of Alec Burks in a lot of ways and could easily fill in a few minutes here and there when necessary for the Knicks.
As a bigger wing, he could come in and play either the 2 or the 3 which are both positions of need.
Definitely not my first choice if I was in charge of making that decision, but the Knicks could definitely do a whole lot worse.
