The other day I wrote about the 3 most likely players that the NY Knicks could trade for in the offseason.

Today, I wanted to explore what some of those trades could look like.

To say the Knicks are in a really interesting spot right now would be a massive understatement.

Even while having the lowest payroll in the league, and a projected $50 million to spend in the summer, they’re still deep in the playoff hunt with a current record of 28-27 and sit in 8th place.

Coming off of 3 straight wins with a game against the Pelicans on the docket tonight (as this is being written), clearly, the Knicks are primed to be movers and shakers come June.

This is exactly what brings me to the basis of this article…what the heck are they gonna do this offseason?

Would you do any of these trades if you ran the NY Knicks?

There’s always intrigue for every team in every offseason but for the first time in a long time, there so many different paths to take for the Knicks.

The free-agent market this offseason is weak and will become that much weaker if Kawhi Leonard decides to stay with the Clippers.

So if the Knicks’ brass decides they want to improve their chances of competing for a title next season, it’s likely they’ll be looking to who could become available via trade.

In my last piece, I discussed the 3 most likely players that could be traded to New York, and they were Lonzo Ball, Malcolm Brogdon, and Bradley Beal.

While there may be others I’d rather the Knicks trade for, such as Buddy Hield, for example, those 3 names just make the most sense for a plethora of reasons.

Today I’ll be diving into what those trades could look like.
