As this is being written, the NY Knicks have scratched and clawed their way back to a .500 record, sitting at an even 27-27. This article will be going live after the Lakers game tonight, so here’s hoping they find a way to pull it out.

They just have to capitalize on the games when players like LeBron James and Anthony Davis aren’t available.

But I digress…

As I’ve mentioned in previous articles, the Knicks are in this really weird, but exciting place where they can go in a bunch of different directions moving forward.

They don’t seem to be in much of a rush to do anything drastic, as they’re years ahead of where the fanbase thought they’d be at this point.

They could opt to continue to build organically while signing players to 1-year or short-term contracts.

They could make trades for “bad” contracts to acquire even more draft capital.

They could go hard in free agency and acquire some solid young veterans like Lonzo Ball.

Who do you think the NY Knicks should trade for this offseason?

Or, they could use the young players and draft picks they have now to make a blockbuster deal for Bradley Beal as one example.

Because of their newfound success, any of these options could be plausible directions forward.

Today we’re going to be exploring the last option in predicting who the most likely players the Knicks could trade for in the offseason will be.

There’ll definitely be some bias here as I’ll only be targeting some of my most favorite players that could be available.

But still, these are players that the Knicks have been rumored to have interest in before, but for one reason or another, the deals never happened at the deadline.

Here are the 3 players I believe are most likely to be traded to the Knicks in this upcoming offseason.
