NY Knicks 2021-22 Lineup idea #3 – Trade for Bradley Beal

Am I trading for Bradley Beal yet again? You betchya.

I love his enthusiasm. I really do.

The loyalty he has for the Wizards is just insane to me…I understand why Damian Lillard feels the way he feels about Portland because they consistently surround him with a playoff-caliber roster and they’ve at least seen some postseason success.

Bradley Beal, however…let this man FREE!

He’s not in a winning situation nor will he be anytime soon. He needs to capitalize on his prime and go be with a team that has the promise of making the playoffs consistently.

As good as Julius Randle has been, he’s still just a very solid 2nd option on a championship team, so adding a talent like Bradley Beal along with one of the best coaches in the league in my opinion in Coach Thibodeau…we could very well see a few deep playoff runs by the Knicks in the near future.

Here’s the trade for Beal:

The way I see it, the Knicks are gonna have to give up a lot of course but the options are to either give up RJ Barrett and fewer picks or keep RJ as the team’s 3rd option on offense and give up basically their entire future.

I say, screw the future…let’s win now!

As far as the new lineup, I think they keep Rose and Burks and let Reggie walk (sadly).

Unless a better option comes along, Nerlens Noel has earned a spot as the starting center next season, as long as they also sign a very capable backup or two.
