This season has given NY Knicks fans starved for success a taste of the good life. With an assemblage of high draft picks and cap space to spare, next year they could have a full-course meal.

Monday’s National Championship between the Baylor Bears and Gonzaga Bulldogs offers fans a look at players who could help the NY Knicks reach the next level. As they prepare to play in what could be the last college game of their lives, let’s look ahead at the possibility of them being draped in orange and blue by the end of 2021.

The Knicks have far exceeded expectations this season – but those expectations will never be as low again. Instead of enjoying the ride, fans will be clamoring for a perennial playoff contender – not just a fun team who rises above their talent level occasionally.

NY Knicks: Scouting The National Championship

Both Baylor and Gonzaga have players who can come in and help the Knicks contend as early as next year. After going through a grueling season and outlasting 66 other teams to make it to the grand finale, all of these players possess something New Yorkers will love – a gritty will to win.

It’ll be electric inside Lucas Oil Stadium for what promises to be a legendary night. While we enjoy the game as basketball fans, the NY Knicks fans in all of us can imagine the endless possibilities available to our team – a team on the rise that has two first-rounders at their disposal.
