Trade SZN is scorching hot right now and the NY Knicks should be looking to pair their All-Star Julius Randle with a piece or two to help elevate the offense.

Julius Randle has been a swiss army knife for the Knicks this season and it would be wise for the Knicks to stack the deck a bit and get Randle as much help as possible.

Randle is having a major breakout campaign this year, putting up 23 points, 6 dimes, and 11 boards per game.

What’s most interesting is his newfound ability to shoot from long-range which he’s doing at over 41% on the year on nearly 5 attempts per game.

Recent reports from Ian Begley suggest that the Knicks may not be looking to disrupt the team’s chemistry with a trade.

Also that the most likely Knicks’ player to be traded would be Austin Rivers, which I’ve explored on numerous occasions.

I happen to be a proponent of the Knicks standing pat and not really making any huge trades until this upcoming offseason.

I think with one full season under Coach Thibs and Leon Rose at the helm, it could help the Knicks’ front office to evaluate the team’s needs and direction moving forward.

What players do you think fit best on the NY Knicks with Julius Randle?

Furthermore, knowing exactly where both of the Knicks’ first-round picks will land in the draft order would be beneficial to helping shape out the roster or to facilitate a trade.

While the free agency class of 2021 is not what it once was, there’s still plenty of players that are going to become available that could join the Knicks without them giving anything up in return.

Even with all of that being said, there are a few players available via trade that could really fit in well next to both RJ Barrett and Julius Randle, and depending on how Leon Rose feels about the roster today, we could see one of the players I’m about to mention sporting and orange and blue uniform very soon.

As far as what I believe the Knicks need, it comes down to 3 things; a 3rd dependable scorer, shooting, and playmaking.

Here are 3 players I believe the Knicks could trade for who fits perfectly with Julius Randle.
