The New York Knicks have been full of surprises this season, and one of them has been the play of Julius Randle. Who would’ve thought Julius Randle would be having the type of season he is currently having. Coming off last season, Randle was not a fan-favorite and many assumed that he could possibly be traded before the season began.

Well, thankfully that didn’t happen. Randle is currently having the best season of his career, putting up all career-highs in points, rebounds, and assists. His numbers on the season are 23.1 points, 11 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game, while shooting close to 48 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range.

Randle has transformed into a completely different player from last season. The spin moves, tunnel vision, and lack of energy are not the norm this time around. Let’s look at the Julius Randle last season and how he’s transformed into an invaluable part of the Knicks this year.
