Immanuel Quickley vs Jamal Crawford

This final tier represents the ceiling for Immanuel Quickley. While this is likely an overestimation of his talent level, there is a chance for the sharpshooter to surpass expectations and develop into a Jamal Crawford-esque game changer.

Crawford is legendary for his killer crossovers and blistering scoring ability. He was able to win 3 Sixth Man of the Year awards over the course of a two-decade-long NBA career. Over this span, the veteran posted a solid 14.6 points per game scoring average with a 35% three-point shooting percentage.

The former New York Knicks standout, Jamal Crawford once put up 52 points in a game as a 6th man, and it seems that young Immanuel Quickley has the makings to accomplish the same. So far, Quickley has recorded more than 15 points off the bench in 8 games this season and has also eclipsed 20 points in 4 of those games. It’s only a matter of time before Immanuel Quickley is given 30 minutes per game and the training wheels would come off. Over time, he’ll just have to continue to earn Coach Thibodeau’s trust and in return, we may have another 6th man of the year contender on our hands.

Quickley has the potential to develop into a great outside shooter. He also has shown a versatility that has drawn comparisons to Crawford’s game. While it seems quite unlikely that he can add the same all-world ball-handling ability as the former Washington superstar, there are aspects of the new Knicks’ game that are reminiscent of the journeyman guard.

If things break right, the sky really could be the limit for Quickly and his NBA career.
