1) RJ Barrett

If you are not on the RJ Barrett train yet, I suggest that you get on this as soon as possible. After being snubbed off the all-rookie teams, there is a huge chip on his shoulder to prove these people wrong. While his rookie season was not what we had hoped it to be, he was still one of the better players on the Knicks starting five.

Only four other rookies averaged at least 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, with one made 3PT per game. They are Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Luka Doncic, and Steve Francis. That is a great company to be in.

I’m not sure if RJ will ever get to the potential of his draft peers like Zion and Morant. That does not mean RJ does not have the potential to be a multi-year Allstar in this league. He is ready to carry the offensive load and is ready to prove that he is a star in this league. With his strong start to the season, his cards are already getting expensive. RJ seems like the surest thing out of all the young players on the Knicks.

With all this said, I would have to warn you that this is a quite volatile market in terms of value. But the worst thing that can happen if you pick up one of these five cards is that you get to collect a rookie card of a promising Knickerbocker. That sounds good enough for me.
