2) Combo Guards for the Knicks to consider: Tyrell Terry

Tyrell Terry is a name that hasn’t popped up as frequently as other prospects linked to the Knicks. You’ll find Terry as low as 25th on big boards and as high as 8th.

The one thing everyone can agree on with Terry is that he is a lights-out shooter. Arguably the best shooter in the entire draft, Terry has a smooth release and can hit shots from a variety of angles. He shot just under 41 percent from three and 89 percent from the free-throw line this past year at Stanford.

Terry played point guard in college, and while he may be able to become a lead guard in the NBA one day, he might end up being more of a tweener guard in the league.

Terry is 6’2″ and around 160 pounds, although there are reports that he has added a lot of weight and is closer to 175 pounds today. He’s easily become one of the draft’s biggest risers.

Terry’s potential as a scorer is what makes teams excited about his upside on offense. Aside from terrific shooting, Terry is adept at finishing near the rim, especially for his size.

At his ceiling, Terry could be a lethal shoot-first point guard. Even if he never hits that ceiling, the Knicks are desperate for a shooter, and Terry could give them significant help.
