The New York Knicks front office will have lots of decisions to make with their 2020 draft picks, but who should they be looking at in the second round?

With the 2020 NBA Draft less than one month away, the New York Knicks front office has numerous options to explore with the three draft picks that they own. Trading up is certainly a possibility, but let’s operate with the assumption that team president Leon Rose decides to hold onto his selections. This includes the 38th pick.

While criticism has surrounded the Knicks’ recent first-round draft choices, they have been surprisingly adept at finding contributors after the first 30 names are called. Damyean Dotson has been a passable 3&D player, Mitchell Robinson looks like an absolute steal and Ignas Brazdeikis wrapped up an impressive first year in the G League.

It’s never easy to go through the draft process with an entirely new team of scouts and assistant general managers, but the Knicks have the added benefit of time as they’ve had just around five months to evaluate prospects.

It is currently unknown whether the Knicks will focus their drafting philosophy on picking up the best player available or acquiring players who theoretically fit Tom Thibodeau’s coaching style. Considering Thibodeau operated as general manager at his last stop with the Minnesota Timberwolves, he’ll likely have some input in draft discussions.

Will the Knicks unearth another hidden gem, or will they pick up some forgotten prospect who struggles to find a place in the NBA? Here are four players that the team should heavily consider once the second round of the draft begins on November 18th.
