Signed Jarrett Jack

GRADE: B+

Everything about Ramon Sessions on the previous slide, but opposite for Jarrett Jack. While he came under attack on #KnicksTwitter for taking precious minutes from Frank Ntilikina, that was a coaching decision, not Jack’s fault.

The veteran point guard made his presence instantly felt with the Knicks when he took over the starting duties from Ramon Sessions and sparked a streak of six wins out of seven games to get the start of the 2017-18 season back on track.

As his minutes declined in favor of younger players toward the end of the season, nobody was more attentive, vocal, and supportive on the bench than Jack. The MSG cameras would often catch him as the first man off the bench to celebrate a big play by Ntilikina. He played the veteran role perfectly.

The Jack signing makes up for the Sessions blunder.
