Reggie Bullock

I left Reggie Bullock for last because it seems like he will return to the Knicks next season. Marc Berman recently reported the team will likely pick up his $4.2 million option. Bullock’s 2020-21 salary is partially guaranteed, so technically, as long as the Knicks don’t waive him, he will be back with the team.

It’s hard to evaluate Bullock’s season considering he was recovering from spinal fusion surgery from July, and then had a devastating personal tragedy when his sister was murdered in Baltimore.

The swingman only appeared in 29 games, but showed flashes of his previous self. He averaged 8.1 points on 40.2 percent shooting, while grabbing 2.3 rebounds and dishing out 1.4 assists. Bullock saw his three-point shooting decrease from a bulk load in his previous several seasons. He only attempted 3.8 three per game for the Knicks, after putting up 5.4 attempts over the past two seasons.

So while it seems likely that Bullock will be back with the Knicks, under a non-guaranteed deal, nothing is “guaranteed.” We will have to wait and see.
