Let’s review ten moments you might have forgotten about from Jeremy Lin’s magical “Linsanity” run with the New York Knicks.

As MSG Networks celebrates Jeremy Lin through Linsanity week, showcasing all of his greatest games from one of the most miraculous times to be a New York Knicks fan, I thought it would be fun to look back at some of the less-celebrated moments, perhaps forgotten among his clutch shot against Toronto or showdown with Kobe and the Lakers.

I have talked to Knicks fans–some who are old enough to remember the “glory” days of the nineties, and even a few who date back to the championship teams–and so many of them remember “Linsanity” as a purely enjoyable time to be a fan of the basketball team that calls Madison Square Garden home.

You could say fans still adore that time in history for the obvious reasons—how unpredictable the whole thing was; how unlikely it seemed to have an Asian point guard from Harvard becoming a New York basketball star. But I really think the thrill of Linsanity came from a growing dissatisfaction fans felt about what the Knicks had started to represent, something which was suddenly turned on its head when two superstar players were strapped to the bench as an underdog took over the World’s Most Famous Arena.

No matter how old you were at the time, you felt like a kid rooting for Jeremy Lin and the Knicks. It didn’t matter that it was the regular season, or how long it would last, for a short period, like a youngster playing in your driveway, reality was suspended, and imaginations could run wild.

Let’s take a look at some of the forgotten moments from that incredible time.
