The New York Knicks are going to have favorable odds of landing the first overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft. To help speed up the rebuild, who should the Knicks select in the draft?

As of right now, the New York Knicks have the sixth-best odds of landing the first overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft. With the new lottery odds that were put in place last year, the odds stand at just around 10 percent.

he Knicks have around a 40 percent chance of having a top-four pick and around a 60 percent chance of having a pick between six and eight.

The Knicks are going to have a top-10 pick in the NBA Draft for the fifth time over the past six years. This pick might be the most important of all of these draft selections.

In a relatively deep lottery this year; the Knicks have many options to fill the many holes they have in their roster. The Knicks cannot whiff on this pick for the sake of the fans and the franchise.

As of right now, the Knicks don’t have a permanent head coach, so it’s hard to tell what system the Knicks will be playing in, in the years to come. The structure of the roster now is all over the place, as there are multiple players entering option years, including veterans Bobby Portis, Wayne Ellington, and Elfrid Payton.

The Knicks have a lot of decisions to make this year, and rumors are swirling around that the Knicks are attempting to trade for a star player.

This offseason and draft will be essential for the Knicks to get out of the rebuilding stage.
