Like the rest of us, New York Knicks guard Frank Ntilikina is living in isolation from the world. This is the perfect time to do some film study to improve.

The final first-round draft pick of the Phil Jackson era was utilized on polarizing combo guard Frank Ntilikina. The New York Knicks have since spent two-and-a-half seasons attempting to maximize Ntilikina’s potential without providing him with consistent playing time.

Debates can rage as to who’s fault it is that Ntilikina has been in and out of the rotation, but the reality is: The 21-year-old still has work to do on his game.

The upside is clear to see, as Ntilikina stands at 6’4″ and 200 pounds with a wingspan that’s been reported to be as long as 7’1″. He’s already one of the better defensive players in the NBA, displaying elite potential against the pick and roll, and tremendous situational ability.

Madison Square Garden has come to life on multiple occasions to applaud Ntilikina’s defensive prowess, but it’s also bemoaned his lack of offensive consistency.

As such, Knicks fans are divided on what it is that Ntilikina brings to the table. Few deny his defensive proficiency, and most even agree that he can be a valuable contributor to a team that’s built around veterans who are looking to win now.

However, the debate rages as to whether or not Ntilikina can be a key piece of the puzzle as the Knicks attempt to return to prominence.

Thankfully, studying these players could help enigmatic New York Knicks guard Frank Ntilikina put the debates to rest.
