The New York Knicks will return home to face the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, Dec. 5. A look at the odds, injuries and how to watch this game.

It’s been a long 72 hours since the New York Knicks have played a basketball game. Their last appearance featured the most miserable performance of the season, featuring an annihilation by the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum. The Knicks not only allowed a season-high 132 points but lost by 44—being outscored in each quarter.

The team shot 30 percent from the field, too, failing to muster any offense. Julius Randle led the way with 19 points but on an underwhelming 5-for-12 shooting, and he added five rebounds. His production has been inconsistent through the season’s first six weeks, so any hope of ending this long losing streak will partially be on his shoulders.

As for Thursday, the Knicks will return home to face the Denver Nuggets, who continues the former’s rough pre-holiday season schedule.

Per SNY’s Ian Begley, the Knicks could have three players return from injury against Denver: Frank Ntilikina (back), Elfrid Payton (hamstring), and Marcus Morris (neck).

Morris likely slots back into his starting spot, sending Kevin Knox to the bench after joining the lineup in the previous two games.

Ntilikina and Payton are interesting cases, however. If both return, point guard minutes will come at a premium with Dennis Smith Jr. also around. When all three were healthy in October, coach David Fizdale had the Frenchman as the third-string guard. Changes have happened since, as Ntilikina became the starter. Could Fizdale revert to the old look?

Knicks odds against Nuggets

Favorite: -7.5 Nuggets/+7.5 Knicks
Over/under: 201.5
Moneyline: -350 Nuggets/+290 Knicks

It’s a surprise to see the Nuggets only favored by single digits, after what the Knicks just went through against Milwaukee. That over/under is probably more indicative of that with New York’s struggles to score.
