Matchup: New York Knicks vs New Orleans Pelicans

When: Jan. 10, 8:00 PM EST

Where: Madison Square Garden, New York, New York.

RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson will make Knicks vs Pelicans must-see TV for the foreseeable future, which has already been proven true by the anticipation for their summer league matchup back in July.

These two will be linked together for the rest of their careers. Both were top recruits out of high school, drafted at the top of their rookie class, very good friends, and are a rivalry in the making.

The excitement for their first matchup in the league is already evident as this is one of the three nationally televised games the Knicks received for the 2019-20 NBA season.

Although all the attention will be on Zion and RJ battling it out in the Garden, the Pelicans are a very formidable team. With Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, and Brandon Ingram, the Pelicans are an exciting young team with the potential to sneak into the playoffs.

Knicks fans, as well as the NBA community, will enjoy the matchup between RJ and Zion, but the matchup between the Knicks and the Pelicans will be equally interesting.
