Matchup: New York Knicks vs Los Angeles Lakers

When: Jan. 22, 7:30 PM EST

Where: Madison Square Garden, New York, New York.

LeBron James in the Garden is always a spectacle, for better or for worse. In fact, last season, his first game in the Garden as a Los Angeles Laker, ended with Mario Hezonja blocking LeBron’s game-winning shot.

Even though Hezonja is no longer a Knick, LeBron will look to redeem himself. This time he is coming with a fully loaded roster featuring Anthony Davis that is poised to make a run for the NBA finals. The Lakers are coming off a disappointing season where they missed the playoffs, but they are looking to avenge last season’s woes.

With the lights at its brightest, LeBron and the Lakers will bring their A-game, making it a tough matchup for the Knicks. However, this Knicks team is filled with players who are not ones to bow down to a challenge.

The Knicks will throw bodies at LeBron and do their best to contain Anthony Davis, but beating the Lakers will be a tall task for head coach David Fizdale. However, a matchup against two of the league’s brightest stars and one of the best teams in the league is must see TV.
