Milwaukee Bucks: No. 30

The Milwaukee Bucks find themselves in championship position. After running through the first and second rounds, they garnered a 2-0 lead over the Toronto Raptors and have an opening to make their first NBA Finals in decades.

Teams who win it all can’t stop improving. Just look at the Warriors of the past five years and the Miami Heat before that. Both organizations added players by the offseason to ensure success.

The Bucks have a foundation in place. Giannis Antetotkounmpo might be the NBA’s best player. Khris Middleton remains an unheralded talent. Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon are terrific pieces beside them. Whether they can keep Brook Lopez and Nikola Mirotic is unknown, but they were also great values to add depth.

If this organization seeks a trade to upgrade the roster, they can turn to the New York Knicks. That No. 30 pick is expendable, and it can move towards a versatile defender to take pressure off the stars at the other side of the court.

If the Knicks can sign players like Durant and Kyrie Irving, they may not want to help the Eastern Conference’s powerhouse, but if they are the only team to offer their draft pick in this range, it is a viable suitor to build off a backcourt that could use more depth, especially if Dante DiVincenzo does not pan out.
