Nassir Little disappears at times for North Carolina, since his game is focused inside the arc and little else. In Sunday’s win over Washington, the freshman forward did not drift away and shined, with 20 points and seven rebounds on 8-for-11 shooting. He even added a three-pointer.

This was not the only standout Tar Heel, either, as Coby White had 17 points and six rebounds and stands as a potential lottery pick. Luke Maye had 20 points and 14 rebounds, but his status for June leans towards undrafted.

Little can become an offensive catalyst as UNC goes deeper into the tournament. They have an offensively-tested Auburn team next and either Houston or Kentucky afterward, if they make it that far, before a Final Four test.

White, Maye and Cameron Johnson will all do their work, but Little has the talent to step up and take over any game. It just depends if his shot falls.

As an NBA prospect, the physical tools are there, as Daily Knicks has exhausted over before. Little’s upside stems from his shooting ability in the NBA, and he has years to find that, given his young age.

Little could go as high as the top 10 or fall around the lottery’s back-end. That probably stands outside the New York Knicks’ range.
