3. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder have depth at wing, but maybe not enough, due to injuries to Andre Roberson, Hamidou Diallo and Terrance Ferguson. While intriguing players, even they need someone to support them.

Oklahoma City and the New York Knicks linked up for the 2017 trade that sent Carmelo Anthony for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round pick, which became Mitchell Robinson.

This time, it’s a low-profile trade, but general manager Sam Presti can take a flier on a player to deepen the Thunder’s bench.

Dotson provides support for the aforementioned injured players. While all will return to action this season, there’s a threat of reaggravation, which would limit OKC’s depth, again.

Would they send another second-rounder to the Knicks, though? So far, Robinson looks more than valuable. Not all picks from 31 to 60 succeed, but could it give the Thunder front office cold feet?
