After another week of New York Knicks basketball, where does everyone stand in the latest player power rankings?

The latest week of games for the New York Knicks passed, with a 1-3 record compiled over a four-game stretch that saw them defeat the Dallas Mavericks and lose in double overtime to the Chicago Bulls.

Multiple players had standout performances in Week 3 for the Knicks. That included highlight-reel games from those perceived at the top of the roster.

Still, it’s part of a 3-8 record and a spot near the bottom of the Eastern Conference. So while players rose to the occasion, wins have struggled to accompany them.

How did this impact the latest roster power rankings for the Big Apple’s team? Let’s take a look:

27. . . Previous: . Noah Vonleh. 5. team

Slash Line: .509/.300/.727
Week 3 Averages: 7.5 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 1.3 APG, 0.8 SPG, 1.3 BPG, 0.5 3PM, 22.0 MPG
Season Averages: 7.5 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 1.6 APG, 0.6 SPG, 0.9 BPG, 0.3 3PM, 20.4 MPG

Noah Vonleh reentered the power rankings after a solid Week 3 for the New York Knicks. That’s even with unremarkable second and third games against the Mavericks and Washington Wizards, respectively.

In his second double-double of the season, Vonleh had 14 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks versus the Indiana Pacers. Easily his best line of 2018-19, but it followed with two games of just 10 minutes each.

Vonleh had foul trouble that shortened his on-court stay and limited New York’s frontcourt depth. It didn’t impact them in Dallas, but the Wizards took advantage with continuous attacks to the paint on Mitchell Robinson and switches to open space around the rim.

Monday’s game against the Chicago Bulls kept Vonleh out of foul trouble. While he only shot 3-for-10, he still notched 10 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked 2 shots.

There’s no indication of more changes to the starting lineup, so Vonleh should keep his starting spot despite New York’s record. He still provides two-way play next to Robinson and Enes Kanter and it works over Lance Thomas and Mario Hezonja.
