The New York Knicks ended the 2018 Summer League on a high note with a double-digit victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Who stepped up?

The New York Knicks returned to the Summer League court on Friday, July 13. Having lost three of their first four games, New York was attempting to complete its stint in Las Vegas on a high note by securing a victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

The shorthanded Knicks overcame the absence of two of their most revered players to secure a 102-83 victory over the Pelicans.

New York was without perhaps the two most coveted players on the roster. Summer League standout Kevin Knox and defensive specialist Frank Ntilikina were both absent, as were center Luke Kornet and guard Allonzo Trier.

The Knicks made an immediate statement, however, turning in a spectacular first quarter and an even more explosive second half.

New York struggled to convert from beyond the three-point line, but worked the ball inside and got to the free throw line at virtual will. It dominated the boards and played tenacious defense en route to a lopsided victory that displayed the promise of the players on this team.

The question is: Who stepped up for the New York Knicks during the statement of a 102-83 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans in the Summer League finale?
