The New York Knicks are in scouting mode for the 2018 NBA Draft. Which prospects showed out during conference tournament play on Friday, Mar. 9?

The New York Knicks should be keeping a close eye on the events of March Madness. After months of uncertainty beyond the consensus top prospects in the 2018 NBA Draft, a number of less established players are beginning to break out.

With the conference tournaments in full swing and the Knicks in desperate need of talent, it’s only rational to evaluate what’s transpired.

Lottery odds aside, New York is currently on pace to possess the No. 9 and No. 38 overall selections in the 2018 NBA Draft. Both choices could enable the Knicks to round out the rotation with the type of contributors whom Kristaps Porzingis needs help from.

Whether or not the Knicks find a star, creating a stronger foundation would be reason enough to be pleased with what transpires.

On Thursday, Mar. 8, a number of potential NBA Draft targets proved that they have would value to a franchise like the Knicks. On Friday, Mar. 9, that process continued as a blend of high-profile players and unsung heroes stepped up with big performances in critical games.

The question is: Which 2018 NBA Draft targets stepped up on Friday and how might they fit with the New York Knicks in 2018-19 and beyond?
