The New York Knicks could lose the top two centers on the roster to free agency. Which 2018 NBA Draft prospects could fill the void and achieve stardom of their own?

The New York Knicks struggled to sort out the logjam at center during the 2017-18 NBA regular season. With four quality players at the position and only so many minutes to go around, the Knicks ultimately traded Willy Hernangomez and alienated Joakim Noah.

With the two high-volume players on the roster both heading for free agency, however, attention could return to the position at the 2018 NBA Draft.

Enes Kanter and Kyle O’Quinn have been the featured players at the center position in 2017-18. Both Kanter and O’Quinn are expected to decline their respective player options and enter free agency, however, which would leave Noah as the only center under contract through 2018-19.

Thankfully, the Knicks have options in the 2018 NBA Draft who could thrive alongside All-Star power forward Kristaps Porzingis.

It’s possible that the Knicks will re-sign either Kanter or O’Quinn, if not both. The center position has significant star power and depth in the 2018 NBA Draft, however, which should make it an area of focus for general manager Scott Perry.

The question is: Which center prospects should the New York Knicks be scouting and evaluating in anticipation of the 2018 NBA Draft?
